The Assumption AdvantageTM

Privacy Policy

The Assumption Advantage™ is operated by Lawrence Paul (collectively, “The Assumption Advantage™,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit assumptionadvantage.com, use our mortgage-assumption calculator, scan one of our QR codes, request property information, save a scenario, or otherwise communicate with us.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

We may collect information you choose to provide, including:

Please do not enter Social Security numbers, bank-account information, payment-card information, login credentials, or other highly sensitive information into the calculator or contact forms.

Information collected automatically

When you use the website, we and our technical service providers may automatically process information such as your browser type, device information, referring page, pages requested, approximate location derived from network information, timestamps, security events, and similar technical data. When you submit an inquiry, we may retain its landing page, referring page, UTM campaign fields, and general country or region supplied by our hosting provider so the inquiry can be attributed and reviewed. The application does not retain the submitter's raw or hashed IP address in its contact-activity records.

If you follow a campaign or property QR code, we may retain the QR campaign identifier, scan time, general country or region, browser or user-agent information, referring page, and a randomly generated visitor identifier used to distinguish total scans from approximate unique scans. The application does not retain the raw IP address for QR campaign attribution, although hosting, security, and network providers may process IP addresses and server logs as necessary to deliver and protect the service.

When you enter a ZIP code in the Seller workflow, the website may send that ZIP code to the third-party Zippopotam.us address service to suggest a city and state. Do not enter a complete street address into a ZIP-code field.

Browser storage and cookies

The website may use cookies, session storage, and local storage to maintain secure access, remember a buyer on a private device when requested, preserve selected property information, save local calculator scenarios, and attribute a visit to a QR campaign. Information stored locally remains on your device until it expires, is removed through the website, is cleared through your browser, or is otherwise deleted by the browser.

2. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

Buyer contact forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile and request-rate controls to distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse. Cloudflare may process device and network information necessary to provide those security services.

To unlock full Buyer results, we send a one-time code by email and use a communications provider to confirm that the supplied number is a mobile line and deliver a one-time text-message code. Landline, toll-free, fixed-VoIP, and unknown line types are not accepted for this access check. Verification codes expire and are not stored in readable form.

3. Calls, Texts, and Emails

If you check the contact-consent box, you agree that Lawrence Paul, operating The Assumption Advantage™, may personally contact you at the telephone number or email address you provide about the property you selected and mortgage-assumption information. Consent is not a condition of purchasing property or obtaining any product or service. Standard message and data rates may apply.

You may ask us to stop personal calls, texts, or emails at any time by replying “STOP” to a text, using any unsubscribe method included in a marketing email, or contacting contact@assumptionadvantage.com. Operational or legally required communications may still be sent when permitted by law.

The current consent does not authorize automated or prerecorded marketing calls or mass marketing texts. If our communication practices change, we will update the consent process before using such technology.

4. How We Disclose Information

We do not currently sell or rent buyer contact information or disclose it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing requested analyses, maintaining saved scenarios and consent records, responding to inquiries, measuring campaigns, maintaining security, resolving disputes, and complying with legal obligations.

You may request deletion as described below. We may retain limited information when retention is required or permitted by law, necessary to document consent or opt-out requests, needed for security or fraud prevention, or required to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Clearing your browser data may remove locally saved information but will not necessarily delete information previously transmitted to our systems.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and should not choose the “remember” option on a shared or public computer.

7. Your Choices and Requests

You may decline the optional “remember me” feature; remove locally saved information; ask us to stop contacting you; request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with you; or withdraw a separate referral authorization before disclosure, when practicable.

To make a privacy request, email contact@assumptionadvantage.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity and the property or inquiry associated with the request. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights and appeal procedures. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

8. Third-Party Sites and Services

The website may link to property listings, lenders, government resources, or other third-party sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services.

9. Children’s Privacy

The website is intended for adults involved in real-estate and mortgage decisions and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child provided information, contact us so we can review and, when appropriate, delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Policy with a new effective date. Material changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise permitted by law.

Proto 30 System usage and shared reports

Entry contact details are optional. Local drafts and browser attribution identifiers are stored on your device. Authenticated records, revision history, name, email, mobile number and mobile-verification status are stored securely for additional findings and report services. We use anonymous browser and session IDs, tracked campaign links, and events such as analysis views, verification and report actions to measure usage. A verified session is linked to your person record. Browser counts are not unique-person counts; direct or unknown traffic is not credited to AA Direct Promotion.

Shared reports are sent only to recipients the user explicitly selects. Recipient name, email, relationship, delivery status, and opt-out records are retained. A report link grants access to its financial illustration for 30 days; recipients can forward that link. Invitations do not enroll recipients in marketing. Unsubscribe blocks future shared-report emails to that address. Contact contact@assumptionadvantage.com to request access or deletion, including secure records, reports, recipient data and attributable events.

Confirming your email does not verify control of that inbox; mobile authentication verifies the supplied mobile number. Authentication credentials remain in this browser session. You can use practice addresses, which are labeled and never published for property search.
